At Noon today a countdown ended on a site for Portal 2. Many thought it would be a countdown to an early release for the title and they were... partly right. Portal 2 WILL release early for PC... if enough computers are logged into Steam playing the various games from the Potato Sack of Indie games offered on Steam's site.
If you go HERE you can see the list of games and how many CPUs are logged into each title. The time in the above picture was how long til Portal 2 is released at the time of this post. The time will decrease faster as more people play those games. So if you want Portal 2 this weekend PLAY PLAY PLAY!
or.. BUY FIRST AND THEN PLAY PLAY PLAY!
