He has stopped invasions from crippling his world and has even come back from death. Luigi has lived in the shadow of his brother for a long time. Despite this he still has gained a strong following and even though his solo romp was met with mixed feelings he will always have a special place in gamers' hearts.





Superman vs Duke Nukem

Superman is arguably the biggest icon of the comic world and one of the biggest icons in the world PERIOD. He's of another world but treats earth as if it was his home all along. He has traveled time, dimensions, and went blow for blow with the most powerful beings in the universe. Duke Nukem kicks ass and chews bubble gum, you just better hope he isn't out of gum. Duke has been out of the game for a while but is gearing up for a comeback that shows why he's the king baby! Is that enough to defeat the man of steel though?

Captain America has been a symbol for the United States since World War II. Whether it's the original Cap Steve Rogers or current man behind the mask Bucky Barnes Captain America has always bled and defeated anyone for old glory. The Green Lantern is a corp of life from around the universe serving as space police keeping their galaxies safe. Hal Jordan is the first human in their ranks and proves he is worthy of the ring. Can the power of his own imagination be enough to defeat the peak of human potential?

Link is one of the biggest names in video games and has kept the land of Hyrule safe from the clutches of the evil Ganon. Whether a child or adult Link has always fought through adversity to save Hyrule and it's beautiful Princess Zelda. Doctor Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme and one of the most powerful men in the universe. He may not be as well known as link but he has the power and intelligence to go toe to toe with the silent warrior.
