Transformers: Dark of The Moon Game Has Hope!

Over the weekend at the NY Toy Fair Activision was on hand to give away the first few details of Transformers: Dark of the Moon video game. The first bit of good news is that High Moon Studios will be in charge of the game. These are the guys that did Transformers: War for Cybertron which was one of the few good Transformer games to come out in a long time. They also let everyone know that the game will have a similar play style to War for Cybertron and share the same control scheme.



Campaign will not be a choice between Autobot and Decepticon but instead be one long story mode that has you jumping back and forth between both factions. The events in the game take place before the movie to give High Moon a little more creative freedom when making their story mode. Characters in the game will also have 3 modes; Robot Mode, Vehicle Mode, and Vehicle Armor Mode. The new mode (Vehicle Armor) is basically a twisted metal type mode where your bot has a bunch of guns protruding out everywhere in vehicle mode.

Multiplayer was not discussed very much only to say it will have similar modes to WFC but with additional ones to fit the changed for DotM. A date was not confirmed for the title but expect it around early July, that is when the movie hits theaters.
