Plants vs. Zombies coming to... a tabletop near you?
Yep... PvZ will be hitting a more... analog format this fall with the Plants vs. Zombies Board Game. This addition goes into the ever-expanding PvZ library, ranging from Xbox 360 to iPhone to DS. What you see above is not the final product, but promises more plant on zombie action than ever before using drawn cards and die rolls. As a big PvZ fan, I'm looking forward to see how this game plays on cardboard, but I must admit that the game is getting spread a little too far out. Give me a sequel, damn it!
According to the article on Kotaku.com, the game will feature 80 zombie cards, 40 plant cards, and a bunch of different boards allowing for two to four players to battle their way to necro-flora supremacy. Dice and cards determine the type of Zombie and/or plant that can be used. I can't wait for the Live Action Role Playing version, where I can dress up as a plant and shoot peas out of my mouth toward unsuspecting passersby.
