Weekend Box Office February 11th - 13th

Boy oh boy did things a change here for the Top 10! Lets get right to it!

  1. Just Go With It: $31 Million *OPENING WEEKEND*
  2. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never: $30.2 Million *OPENING WEEKEND*
  3. Gnomeo & Juliet: $25.5 Million *OPENING WEEKEND
  4. The Eagle: $8.5 Million *OPENING WEEKEND*
  5. The Roommate: $8.4 Million, with $26 Million Overall
  6. The King's Speech: $7.4 Million, with $93.8 Million Overall
  7. No String Attached: $5.6 Million, with $59.8 Million Overall
  8. Sanctum: $5.1 Million, with $17.5 Million Overall
  9. True Grit: $3.7 Million, with $160.3 Million Overall
  10. The Green Hornet: $3.6 Million, with $92.3 Million Overall

My my how the mighty have fallen. The top 5 of last week were completely ousted by new films that not only took their spots the top 3 have now out grossed a good bit of them. The Roommate dropped off as expected but DAMN Sanctum took a HUGE drop. The King's Speech has now been in theaters for an amazing 12 WEEKS and it still stays in the top 10 where after next weekend there is a good chance it breaks the $100 Million mark domestically. Though it looks like Bieber Fever didn't catch on enough to defeat the Adam Sandler Dead Horse Train.

This coming weekend sees 3 more new releases in I am Number Four, a Michael Bay produced film about people with super powers being hunted down in the order they were created in. Unknown starring Liam Neeson where he plays a Doctor whose life and identity have been taken from him. Finally we have Big Momma's House 3... God help us all...

  1. How sad is it that I found myself pulling for Justin Bieber over Adam Sandler?
