It saddens me that Dwayne McDuffie has passed away today. As to how he died remains uncertain.
It saddens me because Dwayne McDuffie is one of the main reasons a lot of us watch Saturday morning cartoons in the late 90s. But before cartoons he was a comic book writer specificlly founding the Milestone brand which brought a multitude of different character which now DC owns. Most specifically Static Shock which as you know became one of those Saturday morning cartoons. To be even more specific he gave us Justice League Unlimited which was one of the last best cartoons to ever come out and Teen Titans. He also gave us several of the animated movies DC has put out in the past several years. Most notably Justice League: Crisis of Two Earths and just this week All-Star Superman.
I really feel a part of my childhood died today.
