First Dead Space 2 DLC Severs Limbs March 1st.
Above is the trailer for Dead Space: Severed, the first DLC announced for EA and Visceral game's Dead Space 2. This two-chapter episode centers around the stars of Dead Space Extraction for the Nintendo Wii, a good looking, solid rail-shooter (I recommend it if you like that genre of game). Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdoch fought their way off of Aegis VII after the initial outbreak of the Necromorphs caused by the marker.
It looks like a lot of the Dead Space style you all know and love, and I'm looking forward to jumping back into the world March 1st for Xbox 360; PS3 owners will have to wait until March 2nd.
Gabe's suit looks different, which is good. What I'd like to find out is if there are going to be any new weapons to play with, or if there are special unlockables for Issac over in the Dead Space 2 main game. That "Twitcher" shown in the trailer is going to be an enemy to fear, just like in Dead Space.
Dead Space: Severed will cost 560ms/$6.99, according to Kotaku.com.
