Yesterday we showed you a new mobile PC gaming device from Razer called the Switchblade. The device has caught the eye of a lot of people and Razer has had the device on display at CES. Without further delay here is the video.
We also found out the screen itself is touch which I'm sure is a way to replace using the mouse to change camera views during certain games. There are things holding back Razer from concrete details on the Switchblades release, such as issues with determining the right hardware to stock the device with, whether parts will be swappable, and the biggest hurtle, a current overheating issue. The other thing is Razer wants to ensure that they will have plenty of support from developers before nailing down a release date. So far developers and press alike that have seen the device on the showroom floor have been mighty impressed which should lead to Razer really getting the ball rolling on this device. We will keep you updated as more develops but for now lets hope this device doesn't go the way of the Phantom.
