Annie Remake in the Works (with a little more soul!

Sony today confirmed that they are working on an Annie remake with Overlook Entertainment. The film will be starring spawn of Will Smith No. 2 Willow Smith with music being done by Jay-Z! Because you know... Will Smith can't be the only one playing white people. Overlook Entertainment is actually headed by James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Will Smith which explains his daughter in the lead role. They were also the company behind the new Karate Kid.

I for one can't wait til they cast the butler!Oh the possibilities, Steve Harvey, Samuel L Jackson, Eddie Murphy, Anthony Anderson, Tyrese Gibson, Vin Diesel, The Rock. Oh it's gonna be filled with rhythm and SOUL! We will be sure to follow this as it develops :D
