Nintendo GCD Keynote

The Nintendo Keynote just ended and here are the juicy details (and surprisingly there are a good bit of details).

Netflix will be offered this summer for the 3DS. Service will be just like it is on any other mobile device but also have the capability to pause what you are watching and continue it on the Wii.

3DS will also have a video service offering movie trailers in 3D, music videos, shorts and animation.

On top of the 3DS being able to capture 3D images, it also will have 3D video recording capability. Details were not given but Nintendo is "excited" about it.

By late May 2011 Nintendo will have 10,000 wifi hotspots scattered throughout the US brought to us by AT&T that will offer us downloadable content, eShop access, and wifi gaming.

The eShop was detailed to offer not only Game Boy and Game Boy Color games but also Game Gear and Turbo Grafx games as well for download.

Also in May 2011 the 3DS will get a software update for the DSi ware store that will also allow any transfer of content you had purchased on your DSi as well as the handheld's web browser.

Nintendo also announced a new Super Mario game for the 3DS that will likely see more details spilled at e3. All that was revealed was a logo and a "hey we are making it"

also a new video for Legend of Zelda: Shyward Sword was displayed. As soon as it hits online we will have it for you.

Now on to the iPad 2 conference!
