Channing Tatum to Bring Us The Origin Story of...Peter Pan?

There is a pitch currently going around Hollywood led by Channing Tatum, write Billy Ray (Shattered Glass) and producer Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland) to bring forth an origin story for Peter Pan and how he became the child like wonder he was in all those stories you read and movies you watched as a kid (the most famous being the Disney animated film in my opinion).

No word on story details or if Channing will play Pan but the working title is Peter Pan Begins. I can only imagine the poster once this is greenlit.
